THE CENTER OF TOWN

Eric was there to pick us up from where the airport bus dropped Alex and I off. This was my first ever visit to a non-english speaking city - apart from Singapore* and maybe downtown London. Munich is a clean, modern city that has preserved the nicer parts of it's heritage. It is sort of the capital of the Bavarian provence of Germany, and the Bavarians are proudly Bavarian to say the least.

* but that doesn't count as I never went outside the enormous airport
